The 26th Genoa International Poetry Festival "Parole spalancate" (Wide Open Words) is coming!

The 26th Genoa International Poetry Festival, which is the largest and the oldest poetry festival in Italy, it will be also one of the first cultural events in Europe to offer performaces and live shows with the presence of the public, within a calendar from June to September in over 30 places in Genoa between palaces, gardens, villas, beaches and squares.

The Festival will begin with two special days, Wednesday 17th  and Thursday 18th of June in the Court of Palazzo Ducale, ready to host 3 national preview shows (program on www.parolespalancate.it and in Facebook page Parole spalancate). It will be a special moment, in which the Festival will be able to return to live dialogue with its public, in compliance with Covid social distancing measures. The live events will also be visible in streaming (Facebook page Parole spalancate) from all over the world.

The Versopolis poets, Eleni Cay, Carmien Michels, Violeta Gil and Marie de Quatrebarbes will attend the Festival in September, hoping that the flights will be allowed without problem.
