Felix Poetry Festival 2020

Digital readings and poetry pleas

Because of covid-19 pandemic, the festival in Belgium is postponed to October and will be presented in a digital way. Four remarkable European emerging poets will take part: Samantha Barendson (France), Carmen Camacho (Spain), Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl (Iceland) en Gjoko Zdraveski (North-Macedonia).

Their work is translated into English and Dutch. The trilingual booklets will be presented to the public during the digital poetry programs. Thereafter the booklets are available for free in Poëziecentrum, Ghent. (While supplies last.)

VERSOPOLIS Poetry Talk will be held on Wednesday, 21st of October

Cultural journalist Virginie Platteau will have an online conversation with the European poets who will offer an insight in their work. They will throw a light by discussing the most urgent motifs and by reading one of their most characterising poems. The talk will be held in English. The poems will be read in their original language.
