Cork International Poetry Festival

The 2021 edition of the Cork International Poetry Festival presents poets from Britain, France, Ireland, Jamaica, Poland, Puerto Rica and the United States.
There will be readings focussed on nature, working-class voices, the émigré experience and on translation. Among the headlining poets are Kwami Dawes, Martín Espada, Ben Okri and Doireann Ní Ghríofa. The Versopolis poets taking part are Anna Adamowicz from Poland and Linda Maria Baros from France’Romania.
The festival takes place by Zoom and all events are free, but tickets must be booked on the festival website. Times for most events are 20.30 hours and 22.00 hours Central European Time. Events will be one hour in duration consisting mostly of poems read but also questions and discussions.
